Research & copy for ‘experiential’ exhibition

The Discovery Channel produced a fascinating six-part series entitled ‘Home Front Britain’, presented by Jim Carter that first aired in 2010. To promote the launch of the series, Discovery hosted four experiential weekends at locations across the UK that each had significant prominence during the war. I sourced, researched and wrote the accessible information to engage and educate our audience about life on the Home Front.

Bearing in mind that our visitors would range from young children to grandparents, I broke the subject down into areas or ‘rooms’ where we could have different themes and involving visual elements to stimulate interest.
