Tone of voice and brand positioning

A playful brand identity, positioning and tone of voice work for a new range of tasty global recipes for children.

Mini Nom Noms needed a brand story and narrative to be implemented across their range and materials. We proposed using characters - a gang of ‘foodie’ adventurers - to tell the story. These explorers travel far and wide to discover new and exciting tastes and ingredients and introduce kids to different cultures and traditions.

To create a tone of voice, I put together a matrix made up of the various brand attributes - from tangible truths to emotional and perceived customer benefits. From this, I could develop the brand personality and ‘voice’.

TINY THALI KERALAN FISH CURRY

Our tasty Thali recipe gathers together the typically fresh and fragrant flavours of Southern India, including tamarind and star anise. A traditional Keralan fish curry with a bright cloud of rainbow rice, adorned with red peppers and green peas. Start off with a vibrant veggie Bonda, dipped in refreshing chutney, or mix just as you wish to create your very own taste explosion!
